Hello, my name is Alexander Flores.

I dropped out of school in 9th grade. However, I went back to school and obtained my G.E.D at the University of Oregon. That was the beginning to my college career and I continued going to school, never giving up. In 2008, I obtained my Bachelor's in Business Management. Throughout my journey, I had support from my family and educational programs, which is why today, I see the value of programs that support the advancement of our community's children. If we can show kids at a young age the importance of an education, their knowledge and involvement will help build a stronger community today and a better tomorrow. I have supported and am an active member of the Daimler Trucks of North America's Employee Business Resource Group where we continue to see the benefits of a diverse and inclusive workplace. In, 2019 I received the National Top Latino Award at DTNA for being a champion of bringing together the different Latino cultures within the workplace.

Currently, I work at Daimler Trucks North America where I first started in the cab engineering group and then moved to the electric modules department. Five years later, I was promoted to become a Sr. Supply Chain Analyst, where I continue to work and learn of the current supply chain responsibilities. I have had the opportunity to help the organization work on lean processes to help obtain the best possible outcomes that better support the truck manufacturing plants.
